Absolutely. Rammstein are incredibly huge but from the perspective of many on this board, they are a minor band. They sold out stadiums in minutes all over Europe and were even set to play stadiums in North America before covid which is pretty incredible.

They dominated the European charts with their last release. Like I mentioned, they had 9 albums charting in Germany simultaneously (something you never see) and the chart performance for the 2019 album all over the world was insane:

    Austrian Albums 1
    Belgian Albums 1
    Belgian Albums 1
    Danish Albums 1
    Dutch Albums
    1
    Finnish Albums 1
    French Albums 1
    German Albums 1
    Norwegian Albums 1
    Polish Albums 1
    Portuguese Albums 1
    Swiss Albums 1
    Czech Albums 2
    Hungarian Albums 2
    Latvian Albums 2
    Spanish Albums 2
    Swedish Albums 2
    Scottish Albums 2
    Mexican Albums 3
    UK Albums 3
    Greek Albums 4
    Lithuanian Albums ( 4
    Australian Albums 5
    Italian Albums 5
    Canadian Albums 5
    US 9
    Irish Albums 11
    New Zealand Albums 18
    Japanese Albums 39

I usually post about the album charts but some people might find this one of interest. Ling tosite Sigure is a band perhaps best described as a progressive rock/post-hardcore trio has just hit the singles charts with their 8th top 20 single from 2008 to date.

As long as we are talking about singles, Italian rock legend Vasco Rossi scored a #1 single with this rock anthem earlier this month which features a fairly long solo (with a Steve Morse inspired passage from Italian ace guitarist Simone Sello no less):

Japan's the only market that I know of with a daily chart. When the mainstream's healthy, the underground's gonna thrive.

Folks like "traditional" progressive rock? They can check out Kenso or Asturias. You like stuff off the beaten path? Try Bondage Fruit and Ruins.

I love feedback, fuzztone, reverb and sustain. So I really like doom/drone/sludge/stoner. Boris hasn't made a bad record yet (IMO).

Fusion, you know that only American and British bands matter. Even Canadian and Australian bands are an afterthought around here.

"Dude, Rammstein is huge. They've got ten number one albums in Germany, man!"
"Well when they hit number one here; get back to me"

I'm assuming they are named after the Brew Dog beer, which at 32% is stretching the definition a bit. It was the world's strongest for a while but has been surpassed a couple of times since including Brew Dog's own Sink The Bismarck ( a ridiculous 415 proof!)

I've tried Tactical Nuclear Penguin. It was like the beer equivalent of the syrup pubs use with soda to create coca cola. Add some water and it might (might!) have been palatable. :)
