I'm resurrecting this thread after it kind of became an afterthought on The Long And Winding Threads with over 5000 posts. There was never much clash of opinions with this topic. Everyone 'who' was interested just subjectively put out their best song of that day. Anybody reading the posts either liked the song or just moved on to the next post and the next song. From my baby boomer formative years, with my favorite Stevie Wonder song- "Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours".
