Best sounding CD issue of Some Tough City by Tony Carey?

    Well, you picked a pretty obscure album. I’d say a little patience is in order.

    I remember “Fine Day” getting a little play on MTV back in the day. I have a copy of the lp I found in a dollar bin, but I’ve never heard a cd version.

    I have always loved "First Day of Summer". Never had this on CD.

    I just had a listen to the MCA Records – MCD 05464 I referred to above and there is certainly something missing. The treble just drops from 4 - 5 kHz so there is no top end on this one.

    I you get hands on the Renaissance release please tell us what it sounds like.
