I use the same speakers (with their smaller brother, the BeoLab 50, as rears), and they are certainly very impressive.

My buddies Wilson Alexandrias (Grand Slam's) powered by the big Pass monoblocks. Prior to that, the same buddy with his Watt Puppies.

We had 4 of the 901's in our Fraternity basement back in the 80's with some Hafler amps and those speakers knew how to throw a party!

I wish I had bought a pair of B&W 805's when they were $1,700 about 20 years ago. $6k now!

If you have a large room and can afford really good components the Vienna Acoustics The Music's are a fine speaker and do so many things right … you can listen for hours.

If you have a normal size room the Audio Note, AN-E SPe HE, AN-E Spx, and the AN-E SEC Signature all will completely change the way you view music playback. This stuff touches your soul.

    I agree.

True story. Me and a friend were at a Hifi event in Sweden and we had been there all day. We were about to leave when we found the Vienna room in the corner of the hotel lobby near the exit. They were playing Beatles Abby Road LP on these gigantic speakers we never heard of before.

Bladelius pre and mono-blocks. VPI turntable i think.

I don’t know if it was because the room was a bit smaller or any other reason but these sounded the best of everything we heard that day.

I was impressed. My friend was also impressed. Two weeks later he bought a pair of Vienna Accoustic The Music.

Probably the Acapella Arts Cellini at an audio show. They had an amazing sense of "reach out and touch the musicians" realism. and not a trace of typical horn coloration.

I managed to find a pair of B&W 805S with the special edition Tigers Eye finish.

Downsize from 801N with 15” woofers to the tiny monitors really sucked, but hey... they were special edition. It’s always something. :D

 The pair at the show had blue horns...a little less "anatomical" I suppose!

Ya, I have never been able to feed my Heresys more than 20 watts. My windows would probably blow out...
