Can't wait for S5, and happy to hear there will be at least one more after that. I'm also hoping there will be one more new series after BCS ends, something to continue the stories of both BB & BCS with a new cast and some familiar faces.

Hope they actually use Michael Mando's character more this upcoming season.

I think the shows share the same behind the scenes DNA, but are completely different from each other.

BB was a Tarantino-esque crime saga about the destructive self-corruption of a deeply flawed man in Walter White.

BCS is ultimately a lightly comedic crime show about a grifter who is also self-destructive and corrupting himself, though for different reasons than WW.

Also, the show early on really played up Walt's "badass" side (walking away from an explosions) to sell us on his monstrous transformation. Spend any amount of time on the Breaking Bad Reddit page to this day, and it won't be lost on you that a significant part of the audience bought into this "badass" take on Walt and seemed to miss the bigger picture that his actions ultimately destroyed his own life and that of his family.

Max Arciniega tweeted this earlier... I replied "Thanks Max" and he liked my reply. Should I be worried that Krazy8 now knows who I am? :D

In order to get my Better Call Saul mojo back I am now rewatching the first three seasons. This really is a good series. It could have been really bad. The personality studies are really what makes this series shine.

I am now getting hyped for Season 5!

i've felt this way almost the entire time i've watched BCS, but as i re-watch BB i am positive that BCS is the better series. well-written female leads, better actors, much more nuance, and a more sympathetic protagonist just to name a few things. really looking forward to the experience of this one concluding and seeing where gilligan and gould go next.

    Watching Season 2 again.

When Jimmy goes to work for Davis and Mane they give him a new Mercedes. The coffee mug that Kim gave him doesnt fit the cupholder. I get the symbolism with that.

But theres a moment he checks the sunroof and then frowns. I just got why. Brings back bad memories of the “Chicago Sunroof” incident.

Duh. I dont know why I never got thst before.

Finished watching Season 4. Jimmy really was gutted by the end of Season 3. I think the entire 4th Season is really Jimmy just not giving a **** any longer. I think he is in the midst of seeing both sides of the law (the judicial system and the law of the jungle) as nothing more than a playing field. I think deep down detests the entire system. Which really goes back to him as a child in his dads store. He hated that criminal and he hated his dads good two shoes approach to every situation. Saul, in Season 5, will begin to use both sides to his advantage. Should be an inner’esting and dangerous game. I have a feeling the tone of the series is going to lean towards BB action now. At least the feel of it will.

In the same way that season four of Breaking Bad was the death of Walter White, leaving only Heisenberg, I think we'll come to recognize season four of Better Call Saul as the death of James McGill, leaving only Saul Goodman.
