Better Call Saul - Season Four Discussion & Digestion

I'm watching S4 via Netflix (first time) and something's been bothering me regarding the crew they brought in to excavate the laundry location. They obviously took extreme measures which I won't list to conceal the location from them, kept them in a virtual prison there and yet both Gus and Mike gave them their full names? Gus introduced himself to Werner at the interview as "Gustavo Fring", and Werner later gave Mike the German definition of "Ermantrout" and calls Mike by his first name. Seems very inconsistent to go to all that trouble about concealing location and then reveal real identities.
