That's the one I have. I said I had a US original earlier ITT, but it's not. It's the German one pressed at Walsdorf. A bit noisy, but nothing much. I listened again after this was announced and made the same decision. That one sounds great!

I have this, too. My copy has 'RSA' in the matrix. Sounds great.
So far, the se7en track CD is the one to get.

I think the poster could be referring to the official YT upload of a(n extra) track from the remaster, but I am not sure.

He’s the president of the Plangent Process, which was applied to this release, so I’m pretty sure he’s heard it in detail.

So the 45rpm Craft edition is now out. My local got them in today for $45CAD. Will have to pick up mine tomorrow and then listen sometimes next week as I just moved to a new apartment.

Anyone pick this up yet and can tell us how it sounds?

Preordered the vinyl from a shop here in Ireland, they emailed me last week to say it's been delayed until June 17th over here.

I listened to the Bill Evans Craft 45 last night. What a mess. Full of surface noise on and off on both records. Might just be my copy, lets hope so. The good news, as I replayed where there were issues, it started to clear up and get much better. I forgot where it was, but there is one very noticeable pop on one of the songs that is not going away.

With that said, when the pressing is quiet, the sound is absolutely fantastic! This might not be what folks wanted to hear, but from my experience with non One Step Craft releases, I can't say I'm surprised. Will go back for a full second listen today and hopefully the only issue will be the one very noticeable "pop" on the second LP. The sound is on par with the two new Tone Poets I just got yesterday as well, maybe not quite "Breaking Point!" good, but I don't know, as I said when it plays clean, the Bill Evans sounds outstanding!

By the way, it's a nice textured gatefold cover and looks really nice. Tight shrink wrap though...

edit - I should mention as not sure how you could blame Craft with the issues I had, as it's a KG, RTI release. But I have never heard one that sounded like this on the first listen.

I'm hoping when I listen again later it will be much better. It's almost like it was cut super hot and just needs to work though. As I said, let's hope no one else gets one like mine. Let us know after you give it a spin.

Both of my records are terribly dish warped. Ugh. You must believe in exchanges!

Just curious...do you wash new vinyl? I experienced some weird surface noise on a brand new Impulse! 6o box set. Decided to give the discs a scrub and it cleared up.
