Billy Joel‘s consistency in his discography is incredible!

I was wrong… he was 43 when his last album came out. 73 now.

 

Having all his non classical albums I see no bad ones. Non of them are however as great as his early work

 

The organ on that is amazing though! Wow the man can play.

Sort of like Mark 1 Deep Purple meets Vanilla Fudge, minus guitar and bass…Jon Lord and Mark Stein rolled into one. I love it

 

Disagree. The discography up through The Nylon Curtain is pretty solid. Then is gets shaky.

 

How about this then? This was the opening "theme"--just a taped intro--to a boot I have of a Billy show in '77. I had no idea it was an actual Billy Joel song until much later. It's still one of my favorites boot ever.
