Hard to say. Did you see anyone with a mic stand? It’s a decent amount of work to track and upload the the shows, it could be a question of time but not everyone like to upload to archive.
That doesn't help but here was probably a FOB taper with some hidden schopes or something similar. Unless they were checking for that kind of thing and shutting it down. Metal detectors make it tough.
Perhaps I should have mentioned this before now but you can stream his shows live as they happen. billy-streams on Mixlr
Picked one up last night. I might wait 'til I get a decent turntable back up and running before spinning. That AT cart on the Technics loaner makes records sound like MP3s...
Don't know why, but I was a bit surprised at just how good the record sounds. The material is fantastic, and is combined with the ability to crank it as loud as you want and still have it sound wonderful.
When I first played the album I had a very bad attitude about how it sounded. Not having the energy of the live stuff was apart of it but the actual sound was muddy and washed out. It took me a couple days to realize I had the mono button on.
I was fully expecting to be disappointed after seeing this stuff performed live, but was pleasantly surprised. Face melting was replaced by, as you have suggested, a very nice Leadon-era Eagles vibe. Just a totally different experience.
