The sales went well beyond expectations. They pretty much sold the entire run on his website and the other retailers have to wait for another run off the press. Turmoil and tinfoil is on vinyl and well worth owning if you can find a copy.
I have had the new album a few days but only listened to a few tracks here and there. I gave it a more thorough listen today and really really like it.
I'll be on the lookout for a used T & T at the Record Show next week. But odds are some seller will have it way overpriced and then they'll do another pressing given the popularity of Home. I have a CD of he and his old partner, possibly Dust in the Baggy? But I just don't ever play CDs anymore. Maybe his back catalog that was never on vinyl and some of the live shows that have streamed will be pressed as LPs.

That’s a new one to me, looks cool but I’d rather have a Martin. I sure would like to play one for a bit, I might plan a trip to guitar center and see if they have one.
I do that with mandolins - lust after one, look it up, wonder if I can get it past the wife, check bank balance, play one in a shop like Fiddler's Green in Austin, realize that it is a lovely mandolin, put it back, leave satisfied. Sort of the musical instrument equivalent of listening to it on Spotify rather than buying the record, I suppose. One day I'll chuck the money down for a really expensive one. The one in my avatar pic thing is pretty cheap really. The octave mando too - but that sounds glorious.

My orange autographed vinyl finally arrived and sounds great. Alas, I must be too computer illiterate to figure out how to post a pic. Tried linking from photobucket, but no dice.
