    What makes this a Christmas song? I never understood it’s inclusion on the album. It sort of reminds me of an old timey college/university song.

    I just included it as it was on that very famous album. At least Danny Boy didn't survive to the current version of the LP or you'd really have some questions haha.
    Personally I find this or Do You Hear What I Hear? to be his best Christmas performance vocally. The power he brings here is great.

    It doesn't get more fun than this with Bing and his entire family! They pretty much based the 1970s Christmas television specials on this, but never came close to equaling it.
