I would love to see someone like director Guillermo del Toro make a film about Juan Pujol, one of my heroes, and a man who, as much as any single person, helped win WWII. And the story will be a shock to most of the potential audience as they never read about him is their high school history books, and all of the things he did were a secret until 1984.

We really need a major motion picture about Abbot and Costello. I can see Ben Affleck as Bud Abbott.

Canadian WWII war hero Leo Major. I had heard that a documentary was in the works a while ago but never heard anything further about it.

Think of the most over-the-top one-man Rambo-like action that you've ever seen in a ridiculous war movie and multiply it by 100. That was Leo Major.

I’ve always thought this would make an interesting film, and I’m surprised it hasn’t yet been attempted.

A rumoured Keith Moon biopic has still not materialised, based on the Dear Boy biography. I think The Who have lost interest in films now.

  19. With the success of Elton John and Freddie Mercury biopics, maybe we will see something but not without the cooperation of Townshend and Daltrey.
