Blues-rock king Joe Bonamassa seeks 'Redemption' for himself — and for Toto “After Bonamassa’s current tour, he may return to another of his collaborative efforts: Black Country Communion, his band with Glenn Hughes, Jason Bonham and Derek Sherinian, which sprang back to life last year after what looked like a permanent split.” “We’re always talking about doing something,” Bonamassa says. “We’re going to try to shoot for something next year. If that works out, that would be great. I just saw Glenn, and we’re going to try to get back together, maybe do some road shows, and I think it’d be a lot of fun.”
Hughes mentions at the end of this interview that a new Black Country Communion album is planned for 2020!
So do I, to be honest. realistically, though - they're never going to tour. A small series of dates perhaps, but not even something close to what they did behin BCC2 I'm still hoping for a live dvd from the BCCIV dates...one of the gigs was filmed
Bonamassa alludes to them potentially doing some gigs in 2019 in the interview at the top of this page.
Ok, His voice sounds old, not his fault. I guess for being around 70 years old he is still pretty good. The old voice sounds thin and strained. McCartney suffers from the same thing. Too throaty/raspy. No depth left. I am truly sorry, my voice, at my age is suffering too.
That's a real waste for Glenn, IMO. The band is set up basically as a vanity project for the guitarist who I believe is a multi-millionaire.
What happened to Corabi or at least rumored? I tried googling but all I found was in languages I can’t read
