Interested to know why. Is this just a reissue of the normal Album or is there something special about this pressing? Appart from the white vinyl ?

Thanks - my local is still in on-line mode. Got off the mark quick and secured my dose of Feat. Really looking forward to next week’s mail.

No other reason than it’s a shiny new (Pallas) pressing. The blurb says “audio has been sourced from the original analogue tapes via a new direct digital transfer.” Plus it has a nice lyric booklet.

I don’t actually have a copy on vinyl, but refrained … for now.

Why did they reissue it at all? There's plenty of original US copies in good nick available.

Got my Hendrix Paris 67. Was expecting it to be blue & red, but mine's actually purple...which technically is blue & red, so there's that.

Okay. Less than an hour before opening and only 2 of us in line. What are others seeing? Is this going to be one of the worst turnouts?

Got here 2.5 hours before the store opened. Was first to arrive. Now an hour and 45 and only two others have shown up. Should secure one of the two copies of Little Feat my store has. Also looking for Miles Davis and Hendrix.

I was going to buy the Shangri-La's but I'm not sure I can justify the €64 asking price in the EU. I'm not usually stingy, but I have the CD and hoped the price would be a little bit lower. Same with the Dusty Springfield, actually - the CD came out only a few months ago and I bought it right away.

I'd be interested to hear what you think of it both in terms of the music itself and the pressing etc...
