I’ll be getting both boxes CD & LP, love Asbury Park, Megalomania live alone is worth the purchase. I’m really hoping they get around to doing them all Super Deluxe that goes for the post Ozzy era. Off topic: they’re releasing The Dio Years Coffee table book no date yet I don’t think, and Dio’s Autobiography finally on July 27th 2021
Is Steven Wilson involved with this? He mentioned in a recent interview that he worked on more Sabbath than just Vol. 4.
Great album, but I believe it would be even better sequenced like this, with Megalomania and The Writ switched. Megalomania would be a more epic closer.
Is it legitimately titled ‘The Thrill Of It All’ in America/Canada? I always assumed that was a misprint on the WB cd. Edit: just confirmed the first issue WB lp did in fact title it ‘The Thrill Of It All’.
As others have noted it seems odd to have not one studio outtake/alternate. I'm glad there's a live show coming but I really love hearing the studio work as well. The outtakes on Vol. 4 were great to hear, imo.
I have an otherwise complete official Zappa collection, ignoring those stupid Halloween boxes. They can keep their useless plastic crap.
i also have a complete official zappa collection but i have the halloween boxes too. Packaging is excessive but im a zappa nut so have to have them
This box set is a complete rip off. I will probably succumb to temptation but I suspect prices will drop soon enough since demand won't be particularly heavy given the hefty price tag.
I've heard from a good source by the name of Doc, that those will be coming soon, including the Self Titled
I know this is not the place to post this as it's off topic, but I have no choice as I couldn't find the threads. Are there any threads started on the Black Sabbath The Dio Years Coffee Table book and the Dio Autobiography book?
Yeah, I love the Ozzy Sabbath by far over any other version but let's give the Martin albums some love already!
not as a super deluxe just as reissued albums with bonus tracks. I think people underestimate how many Tony Martin fans there are in the world, especially in the internet age
