Ouch! Another expen$ive year brewing with all these repeats.

Then again, an inexpensive year would be dull.

Well, the distortion on the vocals occurs because King was recorded hot. Any production of Tapestry that remains faithful to the source will reveal problems with the recording. I'd be more worried if I didn't hear that distortion. The other instruments sound very good on the stereo SACD.

    Lost Masters?

If Nashville Skyline & Desire are issued as Stereo only SACD disks it is likely that Sony Music has not located the multi-track master tapes. Perhaps the guys that did the SQ versions returned the masters to the wrong cardboard box.

Count me as mad too! I listened to the Stereo version today vs. the remix. I dig the original version as it sounds more cohesive and the bass is better.

Don't know what the hybrid will bring, but the SACD 2 ch of BOB is a winner... sounds somewhat similar to the mono mix that I love so much!

I whole heartedly agree, I have both the original Sony SCAD and the Sundaze mono, they are two of my favotites, play each at least twice a month if not more.
