blu-ray players with Time Search capability

Can your Blu-ray player do a Time Search ?
I'm referring to the ability to type in a time point like 1h 21m 42s and jump to that point

 

You can always get to chapter you were last on. I know it's not the same but..

Many players have a Resume function (Oppo, Sony). You may need to activate it in the settings.

But this doesn't work with Blu-ray discs that have a Java menu

Samsung Blu-ray players have this function. Hitting "tools" on the remote opens a menu where you can input a specific time to jump to.

Some manufacturers have this function, and others do not. I suspect the feature is not often used by consumers, who probably get accustomed to bookmarks and scene searches ... until they get a disc like Basic Instinct where they want to go to a very specific time.

Samsung and Oppo have stopped making Blu-ray players, and LG and Sony have stopped introducing any new players for a couple years. Panasonic is probably the last company that is still making new Blu-ray players, other than Xbox and PS gaming consoles.

 

My Oppo BDP-103D can.

 

How do you do that with an Oppo 103?

 

There' a GoTo buttton on the remote that enters the info mode; then you just punch in hh:mm:ss with the cursor, wait a coupla secs or press enter and voilá, you're anywhere you want on the disc or file.
