True. I’m set on the first two months, already having the scheduled ones, so I’m looking forward to reading 2 months worth of feedback regarding pressing quality.

Looks like Joe Harley confirmed on the Music Matter thread that the 80th series will be mastered and cut by Kevin Gray from tapes where available. Really looking forward to this run. It will be nice to have some of the MM titles that have eluded me either in price or no longer available (and more convenient 33rpm), as well as new titles like others have mentioned.

And the Analogue Productions reissues on 45RPM, as well as the Classic Records reissues cut by Bernie Grundman.

So what. The point being is they licensed the use of their music to these labels.

there is also another 80th thread too, so the updates are spread around quite a bit. but we're all pretty excited!

Yeah! I have high hopes for these, hopefully they turn out well. I never tried any of the 75th but I surely have read the negative reviews of them on the forum. Fingers crossed.

Just pre-ordered the Dexter Gordon and Herbie Hancock titles. I have the Dexter as a 70's reissue (2 copies actually) but they're both pretty noisy. Expecting an improvement with the 80th anniversary reissue.
