In the Discography there is not a listing for Blues Hoot- Lightnin Hopkins,Sonny Terry& Brownie McGhee (SILVER) DZS-100. There is a listing for the GOLD DCC CD. Are there any differences between the SILVER & GOLD? This (SILVER) CD sounds fantastic! What a treat! Great job Steve.

    Thanks, Michael.

There are differences but slight. I think the Gold version might be a little louder, but tone-wise, they should match exactly.

I have the Gold CD which sounds wonderful. I have always wondered how Lightnin's voice wound up in the left channel and his guitar center- right for his solo tracks. It was strange to listen to at first - but I'm use to it now and enjoy the separation.
