Excellent! The most recent tour in 2019 was among the best I’ve seen him since I began seeing him in the 80s The best advice I can give someone seeing Dylan for the first time: just do a bit of legwork so you know what to expect. Listen to live shows, follow the touring band and listen to the performances. I think most people who walk away from a Dylan show disappointed do so because they expected something much different then they were prepared for. His most recent touring band was phenomenal
I have never seen Dylan before and I really was hoping to see him soon, but that Chicago stop is coming up far too soon for me to feel comfortable attending an indoor show before my son is fully vaccinated. Bummer.
I've BWB (been with Bob) for 10 shows, starting in 1979, through the hoodie years and into the western swing Era. I'm all in! My 64 year old brother, who turned me onto Bob, (and a whole lot more!), has not seen him. I'm taking him! That being said, if anyone has a pre-sale code for Louisville or Bloomington, please DM. Much obliged!
This tour is the best news I’ve seen in a long time!! I hope to catch a couple shows. First up Louisville. If anyone can give me a heads up on the pre-sale code for that show I would sure appreciate it. A DM would be wonderful. Cheers!
Would love to see the Cleveland show, but already got the Stones in Pittsburgh this coming Monday, St. Vincent in Cleveland on the 18th ... oy ... I really should be saving some money but who knows when I'll get the chance to see Bob. Never did before, but not sure if I should chance he'd come around this way again ...
Well, he made it up. Q magazine, 1989 - 'It's all one tour, the Never Ending Tour'. Not at home ATM so I can't provide the issue number, but it's all true.
This. 51 shows lifetime here (since 1974). I'd like to see him one more time. But if I don't, que sera, sera. To paraphrase the man himself: I ain't gonna go to (covid) hell for anybody.
Yes, I am familiar with that quote, but in 1993 he sought to clarify in the liner notes for World Gone Wrong that the Neverending Tour ended when G E Smith left the band.
Even though I've decided not to go, I got curious. Logged in for the presale a few minutes ago. Pulled up a single 3rd row Orch for the second Philly show. Threw it back. Good luck to everyone!
I just spent a lot of money. Bought all 3 Beacon - balcony seats, and my birthday show at Port Chester. Port Chester is general admission floor, and not sure I feel good with that in Covid times. Got a 5th row balcony to play it safer.
I'm not sure why but I got a message saying that "This device is incompatible..." on both my desktop and my phone when I tried to buy tickets. Logged in, presale code entered - all my ducks were in a row. Anybody else run into something like this?
Yes, happened on my laptop. I then tried my phone, using mobile data instead of wifi, and it worked. Although now I'm a few rows further back than I could have been...
Thanks for the tip - I turned off my wifi on my phone but it's still happening. Very bizarre. I tried three different browsers on my desktop, too. Bob, you're killing me here...
ROWDY worked. It was a bit frustrating, as I had a very good ticket secured, but the site stalled out and wouldn't let me link to the sign in screen. I had to reload the screen and begin the process again, only getting an OK ticket instead. But at least I was able to finish the process this time.
Port Chester is WELCOMEBACK …….since these are his 1st shows there since he opened the remodeled Cap.
