The only thing I missed from the Cash sessions on the Bootleg Series release is a sweet solo version by Bob of "Guess Things Happen That Way." I presume that'll be on this release.

Yes, it's an official release, just in a limited, no frills supply to satisfy copyright protection laws in Europe.

i'm going to set an alarm and get up at 4:00 AM. does anyone who has ordered the copyright sets from them in the past know if it's something crazy that i'll miss if i don't refresh, etc. as soon as it goes on sale? will it really hit the site at exactly 9:00AM UK time?

Not meant to look like much of anything. But this official release is meant to extend the music copyright under EU rules. It also means there will be very few sets made, since it only serves a specific purpose. Previous sets of the same type may have numbered in the hundred(s), if even that.

I hate these things. Really leaves a, ahem, bad tart in the mouth. I now need to buy something to make sure I stand any chance of buying something I want. Doesn't do much to encourage future purchases does it. McCartney started messing with his fans with these sort of wheezes and it has done him a lot of harm. Be fair to those who have supported you over the years, not upset them. Sigh. Here we go again.

again, someone else who has bought these in the past can comment, but i don't think it's going to be insanely expensive...say $30? just a guess. anyone know how much their shipping to U.S. typically is?

OK. I set up the account and bought something I was going to buy anyway just to prove the account works. Seems OK, but I suspect tomorrow holds bad news. Lucky I happened to have the day off! I hate these things. Really takes the edge off buying music.

You'll be lucky it will be that cheap when the punters get their hands on it. Since it's an UK release I tried to use a British term. Hope I used it correctly.

I wonder why they sometimes do these sets as CDs and sometimes vinyl?
