Just found this storming version of Brown Sugar done by Bob Dylan in 2002. Great stuff.

    What else ya got?

Saw him at the Ameracanarama fest a few years back. He did a mediocre cover of Jimi's 'All Along the Watchtower'.

I was going to post 'It Hurts Me Too' from Self Portrait, which I love, but it's not on YouTube.

Um... there's a bunch of Sinatra covers if, I recall. They are surprisingly well done.

One of my favourites Nowhere Man from Edmonton 1990.
I am in a cafe so cannot play the above as it is noisy in here. Link might be awful but the show was taped so might be out there somewhere.

But you know, there are people who tell you that a lot of his stuff are basically covers.

Here’s my personal favorite, a cover of “Suzie Baby,” Bobby Vee’s first recording. Dylan played in Bobby Vee’s band.

He also covered a couple of Warren Zevon songs, like "Mutineer" and this one.

Many to mention, of course. He's done a few interesting takes of Johnny Cash's 'big river'- two versions on the basement tapes box with the Band, and then live a few times, i think, in about 2000.
Also there are a few great takes of 'spanish is the loving tongue'... from the 'self-portrait' era, and later on the blood on the tracks sessions, as I remember.
