What's up with that? they just took my pre-order.

 

Anyone own this years ago..I know its a bootleg and it
might be taboo here..
Had lots of viewings considering the atrocious video quality
and dreamed of a remaster one day.
Very excited for whats to come.

 

I’m guessing there is a pricing mistake and the preorders (mine included) will be canceled.

 

Does this happen? I thought that was the whole appeal about getting in early on these great-but-not-going-to-last pricing windows. If they can just cancel it at any time, it doesn't seem like much of a guarantee to me?

 

I think it has been confirmed that the box set is 1975 only.

I too hope for a collection of 1976 shows in the future.

Maybe we'll get the RTRI documentary this year and a RTR II next year with subsequent 76 box

there are some 76 'shows' that nobody know even took place.

 

Price changes are usually covered. Major errors can be canceled.

 

If the item ordered turns out to be something I don't want, I have a while to cancel. If it does turn out to be a 14 CD RTR set at 50% off retail with shows that look good to me, I'll keep it if they don't cancel.

 

I hope we see a Blu Ray of Renaldo & Clara as part of this RTR revisitation. It’s a glaring hole in the Dylan story as far as official releases are concerned.

 

Has there been an authentic offering for sale on any Amazon BEFORE any official announcement of a pending release? From my perspective, the Amazon Spain offering is not authentic.

 

They were stored in New Orleans next to the river. When there was a crash on the levee, the tapes were covered in high water, last seen in the company of a man in a long black coat.

 

I remember the Sgt Pepper 50th Anniversary set got leaked on Amazon before it was offically annouced, trailer and all.

 

Most of the recent Zappa releases have been found on Amazon well before any official announcement.

Also happened with the Pink Floyd Early Years box set which forced the official announcement to be made a few days ahead of schedule.

it was some of the Renaldo and Clara stuff that was lost in a fire in Bobs Malibu estate.

I didn't think that today I would be checking this msg board so often! I want this news to happen and I want a great box set cover (the last couple bootlegs have not been the best... it would be nice to get something great)... I know it is just a cover and will buy even if it is housed in a brown paper bag!

 

The visuals associated with the tour certainly grab you.

Don`t know about you but I love surprises!

 

Seeing how the product is listed, I would expect there will be performances from the other artists as well.
