Hopefully some of these shows get a standalone vinyl release like the Real Royal Albert Hall and Live In Sydney 1966 ‎did.

Beautiful! I literally JUST bought an original last week for much more than this... looks like the songs from the original bonus 7 inch aren’t included so i suppose that’s something...

Might be Niagara Falls, 15 November.

    Still listening and comparing, however.

EDIT: I take that back. It's not Niagara Falls.

I did the same thing earlier, and it is indeed 4 December - Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
    Confirmed with the audience tape.

Still On The Road: 1975 Rolling Thunder Revue

I tend to read any scrap of info on Dylan I can find, can't say I've ever read any singular praise for that TUIB before. It sounds real pleasant and not in a manic rush, like the other RTR versions I've heard.

Oh. I'm still listening to November shows, and here you've done it already.

    So, it's in the box.

The three solo acoustic songs at Montreal are among the best performed of
the tour. But Montreal is one of the strongest shows, because Dylan is calm,
    confident and centered.

Some audience tapes -- perhaps more than some -- are off pitch. They sound
sped up because the tape recorders ran slow, especially the cheaper ones.

Downloads are off-pitch more often than not, in my experience.

    I
can't open the link. Have they literally just reissued bs5 with a different name/sleeve?? That will be very disappointing for those of us who already have it and were expecting some other material from the tour on vinyl!

This set was a fairly automatic no for me...but then those rehearsal discs look interesting......

Maybe not such an automatic no after all.

This set would be fairly automatic for me, even if it didn't include the rehearsal discs. I am no uber Dylan collector and have no private tapes or 'unofficial' bootleg discs of RTR concerts. Everything (with the exception of any repeats from the original BS5 twofer) will be a new listen for me :) I guess I am like the majority of fans around the world.

The rehearsal discs are just the icing on top :D

In terms of live material, I am fairly ok with my 2 disc set.....and I do struggle a bit with Baez to be honest

I'm surprised that people are struggling with Joan Baez. Can't understand that but each to their own. I can understand that people may struggle with Yoko Ono but I don't think that is the case here. And I'm not knocking Yoko there - I do appreciate some of her material. Not all, but there are merits with most things if you are prepared to look.

I wouldn't say I struggle with Baez - but every song I've heard would be better if she weren't on it. :D

Seriously though, I find her voice rather nondescript and flat. I don't think it enhanced anything I heard on bootleg 5.

Me too  The '75 Dylan/Baez duets rank as some of my very favourite Dylan performances, easily the highlight of the tour for me.

So I'm very pleased that 9 of the songs that they sang together are featured on the box (in multiple versions). Pity the 10th song (a one-off Hattie Carroll) isn't on the bonus disc, but oh well... maybe some of the rehearsals are duets? Anyone know?

We all just have different tastes...Baez was just simply not my cup of tea at all....I find her voice grates, and of the previously released 2 CD set, they are the tracks I skip (and I'm not much of a skipper)
