it's interesting how in that version the lyrics change from a book by Petrarch to the bible, especially when you consider the erroneous narrative that he was only 'religious' from 80-82

At my age, anything that is unknown probably isn't worth knowing although I still learn something new every day.

I struggled with this today while doing GCSE Maths and Physics revision with my grandson. After he explained it to me ("it's just Maths, grandad, it's no more complicated than glaciation or Romeo and Juliet") I had to admit I was none the wiser.

I've just checked with Richard Osman, who has checked with his producer: it's the Ragtime version.

 

They had to bake those tapes in 2011????

There must be TONS of gems in the vault from those projects! I remember when
those came out it kind of blew everyone away....Dylan an acoustic and a harmonica!...just like before he got signed. Proved he still had "the spook" in his performances.
There is such a magic in those albums...
And you can hear how GOOD his guitar playing is.

 

The release to be supported by a solo acoustic tour of small clubs. In the U.K.

 

I spoke with Engineer Mark Howard about this just a few weeks ago, and he called it 'Ragdoll Version' many times. The recording is available to members at freakmusic.club but I can cut a bit where he talks about this and put it on YouTube. Happy to reconfirm with him but this was said 5+ times.
