Pretty sure it doesn't. I don't think he's done any solo shows in a long time.

I didn't think so. Even if it did, unfortunately my city is one of the dates that says 'and his band' anyway...

My recommendation is to go, if you're on the fence. For the bucket list, if nothing else.

That's the plan. I missed it last time he was close and thought I might not get another chance

He'll alway have the band now. Hasn't done an all solo show since the 60's I think.

Too bad.. in what little film I've seen of his shows from the last ten years his voice is all but swallowed by it

At the risk of being shot at dawn, I agree. I wouldn't waste time and money seeing him now.

If that was the one in 2000 then yes-Campbell and Sexton were immense....

All dates will be with his band. Otherwise me ( and about a million plus others) would be heading across the Atlantic.

I've put a lot of thought into this question over the years. A lot of thought. And I've come to a firm conclusion: I can't decide. Too many good ones.

While I don't instantly know all the comings and goings, 97-03 roughly were my personal Dylan concert attending total glory years in my 87-14 range of seeing him perform.

From just tapes, I found both The Band and the RTR Band to be exceptionally amazing as well. Those are the top 3, and well ahead of any other iteration I've seen or heard (though fourth would likely be the band on the live tracks on the gospel box, if it was the same band on all of them, which I believe it was.)

Too tough to call, he's had The Band, TP & the Hearbreakers, and the Grateful Dead. I'm not even going to go into the un-named ones.

Should add I'm judging "best band for the best Dylan performance" not, like, best band in some overall sense, in which case sure G Dead and Heartbreakers are incredibly exceptional. But in this Dylan fans judgment, NOT super exceptional as backing bands for Bob Dylan. "The Band" manages to be both an incredibly good band as a separate entity and an incredibly good backing band for Dylan. But Dead and HBs both pretty far down on the list of ones I want to hear backing Dylan on Dylan songs.

I’ve been seeing him live since the mid-90s and his bands have all been superb.

I’m not a fan of the 80s tours with Petty and the Dead. I don’t think he was all that comfortable on stage during those years and it shows. Good bands, fogged-in Bob.
