Handy Dandy. The most enjoyable of a bad bunch.

Exactly. I see it as a deliberately playful album.

Not one of my favorite releases by Dylan. Born in Time is my choice.

I'm a fan of the album.
I have to go with "T.V. Talking Song" as my favorite.

I'm also a fan of the album. Dylan doesn't have to be wordy and deep for me.
I probably prefer the versions of God Knows and Born In Time to the Oh Mercy outtakes too.

Apart from Wiggle Wiggle, it's a good album. I think it's above Empire Burlesque, Knocked Out Loaded, Down In The Groove, as it has a timeless sound. The other albums that I've mentioned have a dire 80s sound.

It's akin to being the 90s version of Shot of Love, wherein there's a bit of Dylan for everyone.

Anyone know where the cover picture was taken?
I can imagine Bob getting out of his bus somewhere at a truck stop out West on tour for a quick photo.

I'm so happy it's being reissued at a reasonable price. One of the few Dylan albums I have left to acquire.

Yes, very pleased to see this being reissued - and Infidels - two of my favourite mid-period Dylan albums. Infidels is definitely a superior album but Under the Red Sky has a quirky kind of charm to it. I'll definitely be getting this on release day.

    “Quirky charm” is absolutely right.
