often a new book will come out, I won't buy it at first because i need to save up. when I can afford it, it is out of print or 2nd hand for 5-10 times the cost. does anyone know why this is? I thought it was supply chain issues, but I was reading there is a paper shortage. anyone in the industry or other able to shed light on this? More than a paper shortage I believe it's ebooks, kindle and the the push by tech goliaths to control copyrighted content and intellectual property that is driving this in terms of policy.
I think the book industry has a lot bigger problems than that. You can find a pdf of anything you want to read hidden somewhere on the web.
