Bose 901 mk v1 wiring Help required please

Hi guys, My first post so go easy on me
i have just got myself a set of 901's with the EQ, i have a relatively new receiver,
with no tape in or out rca ports on rear, i have a marantz sr-7010 with zone 1+2 output's and preamp outs
is there any way of wiring via this receiver ? i am dying to hear them,
any help appreciated,

What you mean is no tape monitor loop. If you use a computer as your source you could use a program that includes EQ for Bose 901s. Top-left dialog panel in the picture below shows something like that.

Another thing you can do is go from a pair of pre-amp outs to a power amp's in, with the 901 EQ in the middle

Marantz <--> EQ <--> power amp

Did you get an assurance that the EQ works? If it hasn't been rebuilt ever, it probably won't work like you expect (hum, noise, or nothing). Software is a good option but not if you don't use a computer as the source.
