“El Camino- A Breaking Bad Movie” From Creator Vince Gilligan*

I wonder if Gilligan is busy with anything else at the moment. He's noticeably absent from the commentary tracks on the 'Better Call Saul' season 4 BluRay set. And he was always enthusiastic to chime in on the earlier seasons.

 

Hope he's not ill.

 

Source for the BB movie shutting down? I saw where Aaron Paul is going to be on Westworld. Is that the conflict?

Man, y'all are just making stuff up in here. Just because we haven't hear anything means nothing.

It's not like they keep us abreast of their every move and then stop one day.

 

I agree. Everyone wants this movie. Worst case scenario is it might take longer than expected.

 

No doubt. Hate to break it to some folks, but Westworld season is premiering soon, which means shooting is already done.

 

Playing devil's advocate, though, there's the Welcome to Jonestown mini series that Gilligan was working on with HBO that suddenly went poof! It's no longer mentioned on his Wiki page any longer.

Perhaps something nefarious is afoot.

5 is a definite go. Peter Gould mentions on one of the commentary tracks on the s4 BD that the scripts for next season are almost finished, though there's no clue as to when that was recorded.

 

I follow Bob Odenkirk & Rita Seehorn on Twitter, and it seems they've already been filming S5 for at least for a month now.

Wouldn't be at all surprised if AMC at least tries to get a S6 out of the show (they got six years / five seasons out of BB)--and I'd be happy with that.

 

I think there will only be two seasons left of BCS, if that. I have a friend of mine who worked on BB and currently works on BCS and if I'm not mistaken they just started filming the new season of BCS in March.

 

I read it was being put on hold for BB the Movie.

 

Still waiting for BCS Season 4 to show up on Netflix. Was supposed to be the spring and now here it is summer and still no season 4. As a result I have had to skip the season 4 BCS thread

Hope the BB movie still comes out.

 

I'm surprised S4 hasn't turned up yet on Netflix. But don't they usually wait until the new season starts to drop the last one on streaming? Could be a bit longer.

 

I read somewhere it was supposed to be March, then May. So far nothing. I wish it would hurry up way before the new season as I don't wanna get behind on Season 5 when it starts. Will have to binge watch S4 as fast as possible if that happens.

 

He's on the third season of "Westworld" and before that "The Path".

 

Not to mention his voice over work on BoJack Horseman.
