On Beggars, Brian plays on every track but one.

On Bleed, Brian only plays on two.

*we don't need another discussion about whether 8 or 9 out of ten on BB,
I got my info [first-hand] from someone who was there.

    Intriguing.

What is the 9th track that everyone misses, "Factory Girl" or "Salt Of The Earth"?

Brian isn't on Salt, according to one person's memory.

    Cheers.

I don't suppose that person remembers what instrument Brian plays on the other track?

Nicky has been credited with Piano & Mellotron, but my source said it was actually Brian on the 'tron.

Makes sense. His Mellotron work is something I've always enjoyed.

    Thanks for the info.

What is the 9th cut that caused debate?

I guess that depends on how one hears things. I hear the congas on that track nicely and they're a deft touch.

Around the 4:30 mark. They really help during the build up until the band come back in. The echo on them makes them sound huge.
