Ian Gomm on Youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f4MLEznnKEg) has confirmed that the version of Cruel to Be Kind on the b-side of Nick Lowe's UK Little Hitler single is a Brinsley Schwarz demo and NOT the finished version from the unreleased album.

This is just the demo version of the Nick Lowe/Ian Gomm song by Brinsley Schwarz recorded at Jackson Studio UK before the true original version was recorded at Rockfield Studio UK for the group's final and unreleased "It's All Over Now" album.

Its really good to see a live version of (What's So Funny 'Bout) Peace, Love And Understanding (at 5:30).

There's also a recently posted 1973 video from French TV of the Brinsleys in proto-Rockpile form, Ju-Ju Man (with Ian, Bob and Nick on vocals) and Wonderwoman. It reminds me of why as a student in London in the pub rock era, I preferred watching the Brinsleys live to their albums.
