I miss the song "Teach Your Children" with Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young, Crosby, Stills, Nash.
'The horror, the horror'.
there's also people over there who believe Altschiller still mixes and tours with PHISH.
Feels like a stand in to me. Makes you wonder how they go about selecting the shows for release, there clearly isn't any grand design.
Didn’t someone say this was going to be “huge?” Talk about a snooze-fest.
Alphabetically Bruce comes before Thomas.
Tough crowd. Even though this has been in trading circles forever, I'm thrilled that it is seeing an official release. I'll gladly pay for an official copy of this show.
Also, kudos to Bruce for sending some cash towards the Bridge School. Maybe this release will give Neil Young some ideas.
Certainly it won’t inspire Neil to release CDRs of his archival shows.
Although Neil may favour quantity over quality these days, he's a stickler when it comes to sound quality. I doubt he'll be beating a path to Nug's door anytime soon.
Fair point. Happy to make the donation, as always it comes down to the music. I'll give it a few listens, but the first did very little for me. Whether it's familiarity with the Anthology or not, Fire is great though, and nice to have an audio only file.
I'm surprised there isn't more love for this release. It's acoustic.....nice change
Will there be a kind of Black Friday Sale of these shows soon again?
Bruce also performed with Neil on "Helpless" at this show. That came out on an iTunes-only Bridge School compilation.
This may be disappointing to some, but this show deserves to be part of the archive series. No matter how short or how available it is in trading circles.
I wish the sound was slightly better on some tracks (although I think that this is probably the best that it *could* sound, but not every release can be a home run in fan circles.
I'm happy to finally have it out officially.
If you can wait until November, there has been a half price sale on Black Friday the last few years.
So they have Black Friday sales on Black Friday? That's crazy!
It does usually last over the whole weekend though!
What a concept!
Will the Tom Petty shows be included in the Black Friday sale?
The cover photo might be the most interesting thing about this release
Great shot—though Bruce looks like he stopped by on the way from the gym...
Yeah this is really disappointing.
Especially with the extra week's wait and the anticipation that that brought on.
Oh well...what a drag; it feels like it's really NO release for this month.
Yes, I took the chance the last two times but couldn't remember when exactly that was.^^ November then, okay thanks!
Needless to say all the so called insiders no absolutely nothing.
Hell I could make educated guesses on these and I might be in the general area once a year.
Here I go for the next release it will be with a band and a show that has been bootlegged before but this one will sound even worse. I can’t tell you the exact one, for I might get in trouble, but I will let you know that he performs Born To Run in the show.
You heard it first.
