I think so. Wasn't it 'the last stop' on the line iirc and then a walk beyond the Spectrum? Was only there 1 time though.

Yes. The Tower was in an equally bad neighborhood

    I have it on CD.
Hoping one day it becomes a collectors item.

Yep. The rumours were there and this time it seems they were true. US in the fall and Europe in the summer?

Any idea on the 'turnaround time' between purchase and shipping of their cd's?
It's been 15 days or more and still not shipped...

Maybe they're having a hard time finding a CD burner.

My apologies, dee, but I've been downloading the digital files (FLAC) so I have no first-hand experience with the turnaround time for the CD-Rs. Perhaps someone who regularly purchases the discs can chime to assist with your question.

    Hi Dee,

Not sure it helps as I am in the U.K. but I’ve ordered quite a few cds from them and they always take ages …. often 4-6 weeks. Not just new releases either but the random ones I suddenly decide I need.

Unless it's listed as a pre-order, most of mine have always shipped within 2 weeks of the order being placed. I usually order the CD on the Friday they get released.

    Thanks very much guys.
Maybe the sale was a hit and they are busy. Not in a hurry but a June delivery would be nice.

    Instant buy. Sounds good.

I liked it better when Wembley Arena was called the “Empire Pool”

Did they not record the final two nights of Europe 1981 in Birmingham? The last night was awesome, the previous had Pete Townshend guesting. Maybe as they hadn't been planned as the final nights of the tour before the postponement it was too difficult to arrange.....

Probably not. It was easier to record shows in London, NYC, LA, etc, because the infrastructure to do so was already in those cities being such major industry hubs.

I remember him playing Trapped in 84. I would stand up at the yell part and I 'd see maybe 100 people scattered around the Spectrum standing with fists high. Like we were some secret society (of boot collectors).

    This sounds really good.

1981 was the best year ever for the ESB.

Don’t know which show it was but on HT/LTown tour he did a better version of this imo. His voice had improved a lot and it sounded really good with the r&b background singers.

It is a wonderful mix by Altschiller. Well balanced and good soundstage. I think the mastering is ok. Not finding it fatiguing to listen about 30 mins in. Really solid performance.

For the folks that don't like a loud crisp snare drum, you wont like this one either.

And love the guy yelling Adam Raised a Cain after Darkness....
