Good luck. The Blu-ray set didn't even have "From Star Wars To Jedi" in it. :|

Makes sense. I wasn't sure how close to the production Todd was.

Makes complete sense to me. I've been saying all along that her character will most likely perish off screen. Either at the end of this film, between films, or without showing her in the flesh, at the beginning of IX.

Yeah, the moment I saw that footage, I thought, "what ELSE are they sitting on that has never been used in a 'making of' documentary before?"

I'm guessing they shot it a couple of different ways. I thought it was hilarious that Carrie Fisher never forgot her lines and could still recite them years later.

The first shoot was done without Leia's hood off, but they discovered that when made to look like a hologram, her hair blended in with the background and she looked like she had a floating disembodied face. Reshoot with hood up fixed the problem.
Carrie talks about this in either the film commentary or one of the bonus features. I can't remember which.

Fixed some grammar for clarity in the above quote of mine. My "edit" time was up.

One incident of apnea doesn't typically kill you - it's the cumulative damage it does that eventually leads to illness and death.

It isn't clear from the report if the drug use refers to anything contemporary or to her history of heavy drug use.

One sleep apnea incident can absolutely kill you- especially if you have severe obstructive sleep apnea. You stop breathing and you can suffer a stroke or heart attack.

I imagine her heart was already severely weakened by years of (continued?) drug abuse.

That's what I believe as well. It's interesting that six months after Ms. Fisher's death, the conclusions behind her causes of death are still vague. I think what they don't want to say is, "she had tons of plaque in her veins from decades of cocaine use, and that plus the stress of airline travel and sleep problems led to a heart attack."

Carrie Fisher was upfront and honest about her addictions for years. Exacerbating her addictions was the fact that she was mentally and emotionally ill, which tends to cause people to self-medicate.

The toxicology report revelations released today don't make me think any less of her than I did yesterday, last week or a year ago. Ms. Fisher was a drug addict. She was also a beautiful human being. I always used to say that I wished she was my crazy aunt.

Let's not let today's news cause us to lose sight of the fact that her actual cause of death was that she was drowned in moonlight and strangled by her own bra.

Even if one is "clean and sober," they are still addicted. They face a daily battle trying to stay clean. No amount of "learning" will change that.

You forgot one: Carrie Fisher Had Cocaine, Ecstasy, Heroin and Methadone in Her System, Autopsy Reveals. " In addition to the illegal drugs, Carrie was taking Abilify, Lamictal and Prozac under prescription."

But she was obviously not "clean and sober" and it killed her.

Well, MDMA is Ecstasy and Methadone is a heroin substitute.
