    I just clicked on "Cheers" to see what this thing is all about. Fascinating. Also, you can still get the old transfers delivered on 1" and Beta-SP?!?! WTF!!!! How is that even possible. Show me any TV station airing shows from tapes. That would be amazing.

    Edit: "Combat!" is only available in standard def on Beta SP. So if for some odd reason you really want to air "Combat!" at your local station or little cable network, you'd better find some working Beta machines laying in the basement.

    And at your local broadcast history museum. They're likely the only ones who have working machines.     Combat! was time-sped on DVD, so of course. They never went back to the original camera negatives for that show.
