I would recommend EoaE or Antone's if you are only interested in used vinyl - the only times I've ever purchased any vinyl at Waterloo was from lucking out in the new arrivals bin, but that may just be me.

Full disclosure, it's my store that I'm recommending but BLK Vinyl at 2505 E. 6th St is all used. I opened it up with two buddies last year since last replying in this thread. We have another shop called Switched On 4 blocks south of us that has a small but well curated used record section even though they are mainly a electronic musical shop with synths and keyboards and whatnot.

Very cool! I’ll try and make it over there then!

Just saw on your Facebook page the cotton mather poster saying ‘are you amplified to rock’ - yeah this sounds like my kinda place!

Didn’t realize Antones had a shop. Thanks for the heads up.

The record store is on Guadalupe (across from where Antones was at the time), but is no longer connected to Antones. I think it's owned by Mike Buck, the former drummer for the Fabulous Thunderbirds.

There is also a little shop inside of Antones night club called Big Henry's Vinyl, that has a little bit of vinyl.

Cool store. Both Mike and his wife, Eve were there when I was there. They were real friendly.

Some of my best CD and vinyl finds in the past couple years have been at Half Price Books. Everything varies from store to store but recently I've found target and other Japan for US releases in their bins.
