Who are some celebs (keep this to the entertainment field please) who have similar sounding names, to the point where you get confused sometimes. For example, even though they look nothing alike, I got Alison Brie and Brie Larson confused for a time, to the point where when they announced Brie Larson as Captain Marvel my first thought was "the girl from Community is Captain Marvel?" (Brie Larson actually guest starred in an episode of Community actually, so technically true but,,).

I also used to confuse John Cage and John Cale.

For older viewers, Patrick Macnee and Patrick Magee. Both distinguished actors born only weeks apart, but known for very different roles.

Another one for older viewers: Henry Morgan and Harry Morgan (the latter of whom also went by “Henry Morgan” early in his career).

I see this phenomenon often in pro sports.

    Joey Gallo .... Joey Galloway

    C.J. McCollum .... T.J. McConnell

    Odubel Herrera .... Asdrubal Cabrera

    Chase Utley .... Chase Headley

    Evan Langoria .... Eva Langoria

    Cody Asche .... Kobayashi

And then you have these guys on the same baseball team: Ian Anderson & Will Smith ...
which sounds more like a rejected judge panel for The Voice instead of a bullpen.

I have to stop and make sure the correct words are coming out of my mouth before talking about Sandy Denny, Sandy Dennis, or Cathy Dennis.

There's also Sarah Bernhardt and Sandra Bernhard.

Bill Murray got Garfield screenwriter Joel Cohen confused with Joel Coen of the Coen brothers. There's also the other Coen brother Ethan Coen and fellow screenwriter Etan Cohen (who also has a Bill Murray connection as he worked on a draft of Ghostbusters 3).

I think Joel Cohen and Etan Cohen should become partners and see if it's any easier to sell their scripts.
