I have a digital playlist I've been fine tuning over the last 7-8 years that I play on shuffle every December once the tree goes up. We just leave it playing on the digital server for days at a time and turn on/off by the stereo like radio with no commercials (and no Wham!). Getting to the point where there is little filler. These are a few faves that have popped up the last few days.

I been punching myself in the gut all week with the RSD Black Friday Steppenwolf S/T debut Monophonic release....

 

I've mentioned this in other threads, but I'll do it again here - if you like jazzy piano Christmas music (with and without vocals) please listen to samples of David Ian's three recent Christmas releases.
They are all great.
Also, listening to The Mavericks, Nick Lowe, and, as always, Andy Williams.
Bing Crosby's last Christmas album, A Time To Be Jolly, has gotten some recent play, too.

 

Exact same here — the playlist is getting bloated but hey, it’s Christmas. Bloat comes with the territory.

 

Charley Pride - Christmas In My Home Town. After 40+ years it's still my favorite.

Some folks here were excited that Real Gone Music put together a comp on CD that hearkened back to the Goodyear LPs , including Columbia artists and mimicking artwork. Some ordered ASAP. Real Gone inferred that future collections of this sort depended on sales of this one. This just in-it is listed sold out.

 

IS there a commercially available copy of the spector xmas album in stereo (on cd)?!?
