    Shuffling through the HvK box. So far the outstanding performance are two Mozart concertos with Gieseking.

    I didn't figure it was but still a good deal for some Classic Classical.
    That is if your a fan of Toscanini and His historic work.

    Those must be performances with the Philharmonia Orchestra, right? I do not think Gieseking ever recorded with the BPO ...

    When you Guys post a oddball label/company or a CD that's hard to see the label.....can ya post the Name of the label and the UPC in case someone like myself would like to buy a copy also?

    Another recent used find. The sound on this set is better than the 50 Great Recordings (or as I like to call them, 50 Botched Remasterings) of the d minor and c minor recordings with Markevitch. The performances are sublime.
