Close captioning w/ Comcast Digital/HDVT

    Palo Alto, Ca, USA
    I have recently upgraded to Comcast's HD DVR and I can't get close captioning on channels/shows that usually have it.

    This is a big problem when my father (who's hard of hearing) visits.

    Do other people have this problem? Is there a solution.
