    Greg,
Thanks for all the great photos!

  9. Your understanding is not correct, as the clapping by the Wings Fun Club members was overdubbed onto the Rockshow and Wings Over the World soundtracks, but not on the Wings Over America album.

Wings Over America had essentially two instances of "sweetening"--one Denny vocal and one Jimmy guitar track.

I took this information directly from 8 Arms.

  10. Here's the relevant entry:

  11. And another:

  12. That is supposed to read "had essentially two major instances of sweetening."

I'll go ahead and list the overdubs on Wings Over America that 8 Arms documents:

That appears to be the extent of the overdubs on the LP.

Sir Paul McCartney interview part 1: The Beatles would have reunited one day

PAUL McCARTNEY ushers me into his London office and apologises for running late.

But there's something cool about being kept waiting by rock's most celebrated composer.

In the ex-Beatle's hectic schedule, our interview is sandwiched between an appointment with a US film crew and a meeting with legendary producer Sir George Martin.

As soon as our chat ends Paul has to dash off to Abbey Road studios to oversee a mixing session for a remastered version of classic Wings' album Band On The Run..

    Hi,

In my convoluted way, that's actually what i meant, the clapping was for Rockshow and Wings over the world ..

Hmmmmm, i just rememebred something i have tucked away in the Tingle Archives, veddy interestink in relation to all this, i may toss about posting it around the time of WOA reissue.

    Greg.

Thanks for this, i'm wondering then just how much recording and sweetening was done for Rockshow and Wings Over The World?.

It's going to be interesting to see what they can do with the album tapes, this album more than any i long to hear remixed, remastered, re everything really :)

    Greg.
