Converting Euro power cable

    I doubt it. It will likely just come down to the different plugs.

    Unless theres some sort of gauge/draw issue like @jea48 suggested it should work. I doubt there will be though as most high end power cables are about a billion gauges bigger than they need to be power wise :)

    But to make sure, I would just look up the details on the manufacturer site or email their support. Just pretend that you already own a EU power cord and want to use it in the US :)

    It's only 230 volts on paper, as part of the EU "harmonization". In reality they made the voltage tolerance so wide, that the UK still uses 240 volts (in some areas almost 250 volts!) while some European countries still use 220 volts, and they're all considered to be within the tolerance range of "230 volts".

    Big Clive measured the AC mains voltage at his home on the Isle of Man to be 248 volts:

    I know. In practice you could use UK devices in continental Europe and vice versa before this harmonisation. The difference is so small it never mattered.
