Anyone else watching this? It's a trainwreck for sure.

I have to admit I don't like Depp so I'm critical of him I'm sure, but showing up in court looking like an unmade bed is not a good strategy. His hair looks like he hasn't washed it in a week.

I didn't follow the trial in England that closely, but it really doesn't appear she's guilty of what he's accusing her of. I think it's more like he thinks he'll win because of his star power.

(Oh dear, one of the people on the jury is in trouble!)

I'm not watching the trial, but I used to think Johnny Deep was so great in the '90s, back when he was taking cool, creative roles. He really was my favorite actor. He's fallen so far in my opinion of him. Seems very self-absorbed. And I don't think he's made a good movie in decades. Very disappointing.

Have you seen his cologne ads? They're hilarious because he takes himself very seriously and they're so silly.

I honestly don't think he has much of a chance with this suit.

Yes. I think Johnny Depp is the epitome of somebody who was really cool until he decided he was really cool. And then he became really uncool.

He seems to just want so, so much to be Keith Richards. But he's not. Keith is, Johnny tries. That's the difference.

But his work in the '90s is still great. "Dead Man," "Edward Scissorhands," even "Don Juan DeMarco." I want that guy back.

I agree he used to be a talented actor. I don't mean to sound so biased, but I've read Heard's op-ed and she says nothing even remotely about him. If the industry dropped him like a hot potato that's not her fault. He should sue the people who fired him.

It's impossible for anyone to be Keef but Keef.

I have to wonder if The Sun would have called Depp a "Wife Beater" if Ronan Farrow didn't write that Weinstein article?

    P.S. Team Johnny here.

It's a tough one for Depp to win. Even if they were both abusive, it means he was abusive and she was not lying. He could have claimed in the media he was an abused husband to offset the damage of her claim.

    Oh! Check it out.
I guarantee you you will only get as far as when Depp attempts that raspy Richard's cough/ laugh.

Kind of sounds a bit like Hunter S. Thompson impersonating Keith Richards.

Why do so many marriages end up this way?

  20. A lack of communication skills, which must be constantly cultivated, as communicating on that level isn't a sit 'n' forget type of proposition.

All of the sex and the money in the world won't compensate for neither the unwillingness, nor the inability, to communicate.

Given the precarious nature of marriage and the way alimony and support works I had an idea for legislation along the lines of “no-fault divorce“ that would be called “no-fault marriage.“ Lol. I think it should be law that if you divorce within three years nobody is fiscally responsible without children for the ex partner. The wealthy can afford prenuptials but the average Joe cannot. This would give you a chance to divorce simply without legal headache if you’re married less than three years.

I see three years as the breaking point for many relationships based on mine with my college roommate. Lol

I think the judge should force them to live together forever. They deserve each other. Spoiled, entitled, overcompensated due to good bone structure. Depp hasn't done anything good since the 90's.
