    Jimi Hendrix's cover of "All Along the Watchtower" is far superior to Bob Dylan's version IMO.

    I may be in the minority, but I much prefer Dylan's recording (not to say Jimi's isn't great!).

    I like the Drifters' version of "On Broadway," but I much prefer George Benson's.

    Irma' Thomas version of "Time Is on My Side" is okay, but the Rolling Stones' version is amazing.

    Bessie Banks' version of "Go Now" is pretty good, but the Moody Blues' version is the definitive version IMO.

    Nine Simone's rendition of "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" is an undeniable classic, but I still prefer the Animals' version.
