    David Bowie's "Let's Spend The Night Together." Not particularly "creative/inventive," but it is a radical makeover. And some did find it outrageous.

    Although Junior Parker was primarily known as a blues artist, I wouldn't call this Beatles cover blues. It totally blew me away when I first heard it, one of my all time favorite Beatles covers:

    They don't come any more colourful or creative than Me About You by the Mojo Men IMHO:



    Sit Down I Think I Love You is awfully good too, much better than the rather dull Buffalo Springfield original.
