I had no idea there were audio reels for the Albert Hall set. I wonder if it was 2 track or 4 track?!
Wow, indeed! Sounds rather tempting. The LA and San Diego shows have of course made their rounds in EX quality for ages but the finally hearing RAH show(s) (which?) in - potentially - ex quality should be enough for me to shell out the bucks.
Bill Levenson should get a medal for service to music. He has been doing great work for decades... this looks unbelievable. Instant buy.
Just found this on IMWAN, this has been speculated for a while but it looks like it’s official now: IMWAN • [2020-02-07] Cream "Goodbye Tour Live 1968" 4CD box set (Polydor) Bull Moose has a preorder up for $53.97 for those in the US: Cream - Goodbye Tour – Live 1968
Such good news! I can't think of any vault release that I'd like to have more than this. It even looks like the price point is going to be reasonable. It also looks like the packaging will be identical in design to the fabulous 2017 Fresh Cream Super Deluxe set. So nice for shelf display. This will definitely hold me over until All Things Must Pass and Let It Be. 2020 looks like a promising year for music.
Unrelated:..I know there was an excellent 3 disc Fresh Cream set, but was there a big Disraeli Gears reissue? And if not why would they skip that and go directly to the Goodbye material? Is the studio material included on this set or is it all live stuff?
I’m in. Wondering: Since they call it “Goodbye”, I would expect the 3 studio tracks appearing as well.
I'm hoping the sound quality surpasses the boots! As someone mentioned above, I was hoping that the boot meant that new tapes had been found and were leaked while they were being worked on.

I recall there was some talk in another thread of a new Cream release in the works. I suppose this is it. What a great way to pay tribute to Jack and Ginger !
Levenson produced the “life in 12 bars” soundtrack. how did the 2 live tracks from oakland and L.A. 1968 compare to the empress valley boot? That may give us an indication of what’s to come.
I'm glad this is coming out. I just wish there was a more diverse song choice, with a handful of exceptions it's the same set list every night. I wish there was a single-disc version with the best performances selected for it, for those of us without the cash and/or space for another big box set ... yeah, I know, looking gift horses ...
