I watched the first episode and really liked it. There are 4 shows, each set in a different country: UK, Germany, France, and Spain. Each season has three separate episodes in which a criminal is interrogated, so the setting rarely leaves the interrogation room. The first one in the UK stars David Tennant, who was amazing. If you liked the interrogation scenes in "Line of Duty," then you ought to like this.
Great series. I’ve watched all of them so far except for France. Some of the interrogations go to places you never would have expected.
I finished the UK version--just wonderful! It's amazing how much drama and intensity they can create with virtually no action. Goes to show that it's all in the writing and acting.
I watched Spain, France, and Germany in English with closed captioning on. I’d estimate that the what they’re saying and the closed captioning are saying different things 20% of the time. It’s still very good but it would be nice to which is the accurate dialogue!
Just the UK one, which I heard is going to be the only one for a while due to the pandemic. It was excellent, by the way.
Have there been any decent new crime series like this on Netflix? I haven’t had a subscription in a while.
