Watching on Prime and very enjoyable. Julian Temple directed and it's got his stamp on it, and Johnny Depp is a producer and is one of several celebs to make an appearance with a present day Shane, who is very slow to talk and move, but still can tell a good story( a lot of his dialogue is per-recorded, then played back as Shane listens). A lot of the his story is not new, but that's ok. Some good vintage Pogues clips, of course.

Tough to see how addictions ravaged such a brilliant talented artist.

The music of Shane and the Pogues really cut through the clutter.

His original tunes, and covers (Dirty Old Town, And The Band Played Waltzing Matilda) are truly timeless.
