To the people whining about the dearth of Neil Young archival recordings on Déjà vu : Neil Young's got a website full of Neil Young archival recordings for your perusal. Elsewise, if you trust him enough to craft songs, try trusting in his judgement a little instead of looking for conspiracy theories and ulterior motives.
Nice, looks like a soft cover booklet. Project Manager Yaffe from Rhino told me it was hard cover in the deluxe vinyl box. I guess she was mistaken.
Wow...I have the LP/ CD deluxe set but this is making me salivate for sure. Beautiful covers. They're not all textured, are they....??
Well I am already paying for that privilege too. His Archives site is great but the people want CSNY circa Deja Vu 800hrs + worth of studio time. It should have a whole lot more NY.
My 5LP set just showed up. #2297, which seems to be printed only on the envelope holding the photos. And the return address is in Carlsbad, CA, about 15 miles away from me.
Got my big vinyl box set yesterday (within an hour of the Kind of Blue UHQR arriving - two huge boxes, yay). Listened to the album last night. My context is my uncles 1970 Monarch pressing (which is basically mint - he took great care of his albums) and the Diament (sp?) cd. The new Bellman master sounds the best of the three to my ears. Can't wait to listen to the extras, though it won't be until tomorrow night (kids, date night with the wife, etc).
